Calling Waterford Mountain Bikers and Runners!

Do you like to mountain bike or run? 

On Sunday August 22nd Kingdom Trails will host their annual Race Back to School event as a fundraiser for HOPE. This a fun opportunity for kids ages 5 and up to bike or run designated loops and earn points for each loop they complete. Individuals can participate. They also encourage teams to form and receive pledges for the number of loops completed. Pledges go toward the individual or team's school of choice. 

In addition to the race loops there will also be opportunities to earn point at fun stations that range from brain teasers to physical fitness challenges.

It would be really cool if we had individuals or a team or two! Here are some of the details of the day and a short interest survey for anyone interested in participating on behalf of Waterford School. 

Schedule for the day (Subject to change):

• 8am - 9am → Registration and check in
• 9am - 11am → Race Time!
• 12pm - 1pm → Lunch
• 1pm - 3pm → Results and Prizes

Individual Categories

• Kid (ages 5 - 9): Prizes will be given to first, second and third place finishers in both the bike and run categories
• Teen (ages 10 - 15): Prizes will be given to first, second and third place finishers in both the bike and run categories

Team Options:

Mixed Team

This category is designed for families and friends to engage in a fun and active day out on the trails! Prizes will be given to first, second and third place teams.

• Mixed teams will compete for the highest AVERAGE score of all members
• Mixed teams MUST consist of NO LESS than 4 and NO MORE than 6 people.
• Mixed teams must contain ONE runner and ONE biker.

Looper Team

This category is designed for participants who are looking to challenge themselves physically and engage in a slightly more competitive environment. Prizes will be given to first, second and third place teams.

• Looper teams will compete for the highest COMBINED score of all members.
• Looper teams May NOT use fun stations to supplement points.
• Looper teams may consist of NO MORE than 5 people.
• Looper team participants MUST be AT LEAST 10 years old as of January 1, 2021.

Registration Details 

All participants and walking/running partners must possess a current KT membership (day, month, or annual).

In addition to the membership cost registration fees include: 

• $10 - General Admission
• $9 - Family General Admission (must be registering at least 5 participants in one order)
• $5 - Walking/running Partner (required for participants aged 6 and under)
